New Manga

One of my new favorite mangas is Vampire Knight. The basic plot is that there's a girl named Yuki who along with her partner Zero have to protect their schools secret. In this school the students are divided into a day class and night class, the night class being the ones who take classes through the night while the day class goes to school during the day. The secret that Yuki and Zero are protecting is the fact that everyone in the night class is a vampire. The other students can't know this, so it's Yuki and Zeros' job to not only make sure they never find out, but also to stop the night class from biting them. The books basically portray their adventures as they encounter more and more of vampire society.
This series is shojo or "girl manga" so it does focus a little more on relationships and love then horror or action, but it's in their nonetheless. Afterall, vampires have super strength and other various powers so the "guardians" have to use weapons, like a special gun and rod, to sometimes restrain them. They also sometimes refer to almost magical abilites, like erasing a victims memory. The love comes in because of the fact that Yuki was rescued 10 years ago from an evil vampire by a friendly one named Kaname Kuran, who attends the school and has fallen for here. Unfortunately, her vampire hunting partner Zero, seems to have similar feelings as well. When he also turns out to be a human turned vampire, the tension only gets worse.
Overall this manga is a pretty good blend of shojo, action, horror and love. It mixes supernatural and modern at the same time, to create a very believable world where the vampires and humans are just trying to achieve coexsistance. The only boring parts are explanations of politics, so, I guess I'd give this manga a 4.5/5. If you want to read this or others a good site would be onemanga.com . Jpop-Naruto Theme Songs

My favorite anime when it comes to theme songs/soundtrack would definitely be Naruto. It's countless openings, well only about 4 in English and at least 10 in Japanese, are actually really good songs that can be listened to ever day. In most cases the full version is also pretty cool, sometimes even better then the what they use with the show. The ending songs which are rarely as good as the openings in most animes, and all seem to be rather melancholy in this case, actually contains one or two pretty good tunes.
My personal favorite out of all the openings would have to be the newest one with Naruto Shippuden, "Heroes Come Back." I think the beat and the interchanging voices is really awesome when paired up with anime and by itself. The full version with all 3 minutes also outweighs the shorter clip any day. Another good one that is almost a classic by now and a favorite of almost every naruto fan would be "Haruka Kanata" by the Asian Kung-fu Generation. Unfortunately for me and all fans AKfG's CD is no longer distributed in the U.S., at least not by the Virgin Mega Store in Times Square. Sigh the trials of a fan.
Luckily these songs alone can be downloaded as MP3's from various sites. One of the best
being http://www.narutofan.com/, which has all openings for all the seasons and the first 3 movies, as well as the endings and the background music by Toshiro Masuda that's used in almost every episode. One warning though, these songs don't actually have lyrics, it's all instrumental. So, when somethings called Orochimaru's theme it's actually just an organ/drums and a lot of other scary music used in the scene when he's being creepy in the forest of death. With this sight you do have create an account and join, but it's free and from personal experience they don't really care whether or not you participate in anything. So, this is probably your best bet for getting quick and easy naruto themes. Oh, and in the newest Shippuden ending, they're all in school uniforms, which is a little off topic but still cool.
